Terms of Service
Last updated: May 11, 2026
These are the terms between you and Legebanken ApS, the Danish company that makes Leikvin. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. They are written to be readable. If anything is unclear, write to info@leikvin.com and we will explain.
Who we are
Leikvin is published by Legebanken ApS, an anpartsselskab registered in Denmark.

Using the app
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Leikvin on devices you own or control, for personal and non-commercial purposes, in line with these terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.
You may not:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except where the law expressly allows you to;
- scrape, extract, or copy our games, illustrations, or content in bulk;
- redistribute, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app or its content;
- use the app to do anything illegal, abusive, or harmful, including anything that could harm a child.
Your account
You can create an account with email and password, or sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age set by your country) to hold an account.
Subscriptions and payments
Some features in Leikvin are available only with a subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple through the App Store using the payment method on your Apple ID. Prices, billing cycle, and any free trial are shown in the app before you confirm.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your iOS Settings under Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; it doesn’t refund the period you’ve already paid for.
If you signed up for a free trial, the subscription begins automatically when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. We’re only able to give one free trial per Apple ID.
We may change subscription prices in the future. If a change affects you, Apple will notify you and ask you to confirm before charging the new price; you can always cancel before it takes effect.
Refunds.All payments are handled by Apple, and refund requests must go through Apple’s refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you believe you’re entitled to a refund under EU consumer law and Apple won’t process it, write to us and we’ll do what we can.
EU right of withdrawal
Under EU consumer law you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. By starting a subscription and getting immediate access to the paid features, you expressly consent to beginning performance during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once that performance starts. This does not affect your statutory rights under Danish consumer legislation.
Content in the app
The games, descriptions, illustrations, design, copy, and the Leikvin name and logo are owned by Legebanken ApS or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other rights. Quotes are credited to their authors and reproduced under fair use, fair dealing, or with permission. You may use the content in the app for your own family’s play. You may not republish it, post it on other services, or use it to train machine-learning models.
If you believe we have used something we shouldn’t have, write to info@leikvin.com and we will look into it promptly.
Your feedback
When you send us feedback, suggestions, or bug reports through the app, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use that feedback to improve Leikvin. We will treat the personal data in your feedback as described in our Privacy Policy.
Supervision of children
Leikvin is a tool for adults who play with children. The games are suggestions, written for fun, and they are not safety advice. Children are unpredictable; environments differ; what’s safe for one child at one age can be unsafe for another. You are responsible for supervising any child in your care, choosing activities that suit them and the space you’re in, and using your own judgement. If a game looks unsafe in your situation, don’t play it.
Service availability
We try to keep Leikvin running well, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take the service down for maintenance, and we may add, change, or remove features over time. If we make a material change that significantly reduces what your subscription gets you, we’ll tell you and you can cancel.
No warranty
Leikvin is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the content will suit every situation. Mandatory warranties under Danish and EU consumer law remain in force and are not affected by this section.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Legebanken ApS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings, arising from your use of Leikvin. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the subscription in the twelve months before the claim arose, or DKK 500 if you have not paid us anything.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Legebanken ApS against reasonable claims, damages, and costs arising from your misuse of the app, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of someone else’s rights through your use of the app.
Apple-specific terms
This agreement is between you and Legebanken ApS, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Leikvin or its content. The following also applies because you got Leikvin through the App Store:
- The license we grant you is limited to use on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Leikvin.
- If Leikvin fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, damages, or costs attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
- We — not Apple — are responsible for addressing any claims relating to Leikvin, including product liability claims, claims that the app does not meet a legal requirement, and claims under consumer protection law.
- If a third party claims that Leikvin or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we — not Apple — are responsible for the investigation and resolution of that claim.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Termination
You can stop using Leikvin at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by writing to info@leikvin.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms. If we close your account, we’ll give you notice and a chance to respond unless that’s impossible (for example, where the law requires immediate action). On termination, the sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law — will survive.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If the changes are material, we’ll let you know in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect, and you can stop using the app and cancel your subscription if you don’t agree. Smaller clarifications will just appear here with a fresh date.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Denmark. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you also have the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
EU consumers can also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to use a specific alternative dispute resolution body, but we’d much rather sort things out by email first.
